Christian Legal Society’s Work in the Courts of Appeals
Christian Legal Society’s Center has filed 16 briefs in the federal courts of appeals over the past 18 months in support of challengers to the HHS Mandate. Most recently, on March 3, the Center filed a brief in the Tenth Circuit in support of a religious non-profit, Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged. On March 7, the Center filed a brief in the D.C. Circuit in support of eleven religious non-profits, including Priests for Life and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Washington D.C.
