As a public service for the benefit of the general public and its current members, the Christian Legal Society operates an online referral service, Christian Lawyer Connection (CLC), providing to the general public selected legal referrals to those CLS attorney members, currently listed in the CLS Directory who have indicated that they are available to receive such referrals in their listed legal practice areas in the geographic proximity to where the legal matter can be appropriately addressed.

Attorneys listed in the CLS Directory are, as of the most recent update, current regular members of the Christian Legal Society. CLS does not provide legal referrals to any other attorneys. It is exclusively up to the attorney and client in every case whether to enter into an attorney-client relationship and what the terms of that relationship shall be. CLS does not warrant that any attorney to whom a client is referred will undertake the representation, nor does CLS warrant the competence or the cost of any such representation that is undertaken as a result of a CLS referral.

Attorneys listed in the CLS Directory have signed the CLS Statement of Faith. CLS has no other knowledge as to the personal or professional qualifications of the persons listed in the CLS Directory. CLS attorney members, currently listed in the CLS Directory, generally provide in their listing the various legal practice areas (e.g. general practice, criminal law, family law, corporate law etc.) in which they practice law. CLS has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these listings and exercises no control over or any supervision of the legal work its members perform; nor does CLS control or have responsibility for the legal fees its members charge for their services.
